Welcome to Prepare.sh, operated by Engineerinco CEU KFT ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our educational technology platform, including all virtual environments, coding environments, interview preparation tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE OUR SERVICE.
1. Acceptance and Modifications
1.1 Binding Agreement
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company. You represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
1.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion, without prior notice. Modifications become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service.

Certain features of our Service may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be presented to you when you access such features.
2. Service Description and Availability
2.1 Service Overview
Prepare.sh provides educational technology services including but not limited to:
- Interactive coding environments and virtual machines
- Interview preparation questions and assessments
- Development tools including VSCode, Kubernetes, databases
- Educational content and tutorials
- Performance analytics and progress tracking
2.2 Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when feasible.
2.3 System Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring your systems meet the minimum requirements for using our Service and for maintaining compatible hardware and software.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You may not create multiple accounts or share account credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use
- Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available
3.3 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
3.4 Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings. Upon account deletion:
- Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out immediately
- Your personal profile data will be scheduled for deletion
- For anti-abuse and fraud prevention purposes, we retain certain data (including email address, IP addresses, and account activity logs) for up to one (1) year after account deletion
- This retention period helps us prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
- After the retention period, all remaining data will be permanently deleted
4. Prohibited Uses and Activities
4.1 Strict Prohibitions
You are absolutely prohibited from using our Service for:
Illegal Activities:
- Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws
- Storing, transmitting, or sharing illegal content
- Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
- Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
Resource Abuse:
- Cryptocurrency mining of any kind
- Excessive bandwidth consumption or network abuse
- Running unauthorized servers (game servers, web servers, etc.)
- Distributed computing projects not related to education
- Any activity that degrades system performance for other users
Security Violations:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks
- Hacking, cracking, or penetration testing without explicit permission
- Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Circumventing or attempting to bypass security measures
- Port scanning or network reconnaissance
- Social engineering attacks
Content Violations:
- Torrenting or peer-to-peer file sharing
- Hosting or distributing pirated content
- Storing or sharing explicit, offensive, or harmful material
- Spam, phishing, or fraudulent communications
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
Commercial Misuse:
- Using the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Reselling or redistributing access to the Service
- Mining or scraping data for commercial use
- Running business operations unrelated to education
4.2 Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor all activities on our Service using automated and manual methods
- Log and record IP addresses, email addresses, and usage patterns
- Scan uploaded content for malicious software or prohibited material
- Implement rate limiting and resource usage restrictions
- Take immediate action against violations without prior warning
4.3 Zero Tolerance Policy
Certain violations will result in immediate account termination:
- Any form of hacking or security breach attempts
- Cryptocurrency mining or similar resource abuse
- Distribution of malware or illegal content
- Harassment or threats against other users or staff
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Company Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software, and the compilation thereof, are the exclusive property of the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for educational purposes only, subject to these Terms.
5.3 User Content
You retain ownership of content you create using our Service. However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
5.4 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
- Frame or mirror any part of the Service
6. Privacy and Data Protection

While we implement reasonable security measures, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.
7. Payment Terms and Refunds
7.1 Subscription Fees
Certain features require payment of subscription fees. All fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
7.2 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
7.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel through your account settings or by contacting support.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
8.1 Service Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT
8.2 Educational Purpose
Our Service is designed for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that use of our Service will result in employment, career advancement, or specific learning outcomes.
8.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
- THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT OR CONTENT ON THE SERVICE
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you submit or transmit through the Service
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or government actions.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Hungary, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
11.3 Arbitration
For disputes involving amounts under €10,000, either party may elect binding arbitration under the rules of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
12. General Provisions
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service.
12.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
12.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
12.5 Survival
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
