Prepare.sh is a hands-on platform designed to help you learn by doing. If you’re looking to build skills and improve your knowledge, here’s a simple guide to using our platform for self-learning.

Step 1: Check the Roadmaps

Start with the roadmaps on our platform. They provide a clear plan for learning skills in areas like DevOps, Backend Development, and Data Engineering. If you’re just starting out, expect to spend around 3-6 months to complete a roadmap. Go step by step, and don’t rush.

Step 2: Understand What You’re Doing

When working on labs, don’t just run the commands without thinking. Take the time to understand what each command does and why it’s important. This will help you learn faster and apply what you’ve learned in real-world situations.

Step 3: Test Your Knowledge

After finishing a roadmap, go to the interview questions section of our website. Try to solve at least 200 questions on different topics. This will show you where you’re strong and where you need to improve.

Step 4: Focus on Your Weak Areas

If you find a topic where you’re struggling, go back and do the specific labs related to that area. Revisit the roadmaps if needed. The goal is to strengthen your weak spots so you’re well-prepared for interviews and real-world challenges.

Step 5: Last-Minute Learning

If you have an upcoming interview, check the job description and tech stack carefully. Use this information to hand-pick labs that match the required skills. This focused preparation can give you an edge. However, remember that this is complementary - foundational knowledge from completing a full roadmap is still mandatory. Last-minute learning works best when you already have a solid base.
